The second standardization knowledge training course for "Standardization Practitioners and Standard drafters" in the metallurgical industry was launched in 2016

To fully leverage the technical foundation role of metallurgical standardization in guiding production, implementing industrial policies, and regulating market order, to enable standardization practitioners and standard drafters in the metallurgical industry to master the latest knowledge and methods of standardization work, and to ensure the standardization of work procedures such as the use of online working platforms by committee members and the standardization of standard formulation and revision procedures, on August 10, 2016, The second standardization knowledge training course for "Standardization Practitioners and Standard drafters" in the metallurgical industry in 2016 kicked off at Ningxia Hongqiao Hotel. This training activity is jointly organized by the National Technical Committee for Steel Standardization, the National Technical Committee for Iron Ore and Direct Reduced Iron Standardization, and the National Technical Committee for Pig Iron and Ferroalloys Standardization.

It is learned that over 100 people from the National Technical Committee for Steel Standardization, the National Technical Committee for Iron Ore and Direct Reduced Iron Standardization, the National Technical Committee for Pig Iron and Ferroalloys Standardization, various sub-technical committees, the Secretariat of the Standardization Work Office, the drafters of national and industry standard formulation and revision projects, and manufacturing enterprises in the metallurgical industry attended this training session. During the meeting, the training focused on explaining the basic knowledge of standardization, the procedures and requirements for standard formulation and revision, the application methods of the "National Professional Standardization Technical Committee Work Platform" and the "Standard Formulation and Revision Management System" of the Steel Standards Network, and systematically explained multiple standardization work guidelines and standard writing rules. At the same time, it provided key guidance on the problems that are prone to occur in standard writing.
