According to the notice issued by the National Technical Committee for Steel Standardization on the project plan for the formulation and revision of national standards in 2011 and 2012, the Central Iron and Steel Research Institute is responsible for drafting the "Uniform Test Method for Quasi-Static Fracture Toughness of Metallic Materials", "Metallic Materials - Leeb Hardness Test - Part 1: Test Method", and "Metallic Materials - Leeb Hardness Test - Part 4: Leeb Hardness Conversion Table, "Metallic Materials - Shore Hardness Test - Part 1: Four national standards, namely "Test Methods", and two national standards, namely "Total Release Strain Method for Measuring Residual Stress in Metallic Materials" and "Drilling Strain Method for Determining Residual Stress in Metallic Materials", which were mainly formulated by Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Corporation, have been widely solicited for opinions. The draft standards for review have now been completed. From July 4th to 6th, 2013, a review meeting for standards such as "Uniform Test Method for Quasi-Static Fracture Toughness of Metallic Materials" was held in Beijing. Shenzhen Wance Test Equipment Co., LTD., as a member unit, participated in this meeting along with Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute and other units.
