The meeting of the Testing Machine Working Group of the National Technical Committee for Force Value Hardness Measurement was held in Changchun
The National Technical Committee for Force Value and Hardness Measurement held an academic symposium in Changchun on August 9, 2013, attended by all committee members, advisors and all members of the testing machine working group.
The meeting was presided over by Secretary-General He Li. Li Wansheng, a member of the committee of the Shandong Provincial Institute of Metrology, delivered a work report on behalf of the testing machine working group, introducing the work content and progress of the working group since its establishment. And a report on "Classification of Testing Machines and Allocation of Calibration Basis" was made. Hu Xiang, a member of the Hubei Institute of Metrology, delivered a special report titled "Introduction to the Comparison of Torque Wrenches in the Central China Region". The committee members focused on discussing the draft of "Classification of Testing Machines and Allocation of Inspection and Calibration Basis" submitted by the testing machine working group composed of professionals from mainstream testing machine manufacturers such as Shenzhen Wance Testing Equipment Co., LTD., metrology institutes such as Qingdao Metrology Institute, and research units such as Beijing Central Iron and Steel Research Institute, striving to propose a basic guideline after multiple discussions. To guide the drafting of future national technical specifications for testing machines, a normative guidance plan is formulated.
This meeting also discussed other technical specifications and key challenges and issues in professional work. Zhang Yue, the director of the National Institute of Metrology of China, delivered a summary report of the meeting.
