The 2013 Annual Conference of the Mechanics Sub-Committee of the National Steel Standardization Committee was held in Beijing

On December 20, 2013, the annual meeting of the Sub-Technical Committee on Mechanical and Process Performance Test Methods of the National Technical Committee for Steel Standardization was held in Beijing. The meeting was presided over by the chairperson Zhou Xing. Units such as Beijing Central Iron and Steel Research Institute, Baosteel Co., LTD., Wuhan Iron and Steel Research Institute, Ansteel Co., LTD., and Shenzhen Wance Test Equipment Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. The meeting mainly adopted the following agenda:
Summary of the sub-technical committee in 2013 and Work Arrangement for 2014;
2. The participation in the ISO/TC164 international conference was reported.
Three test method standards, namely "Tensile testing of Metallic Materials - Part 2: High Temperature Test Method", "Fatigue Testing of metallic Materials - Rotational Bending Test Method" and "Ductility testing of Metallic Materials - Compression test Method for foamed Metals", have been reviewed and approved.
