The 2014 Annual Conference of the National Technical Committee for Force Value and Hardness Measurement (MTC7) successfully concluded

The annual meeting of the National Technical Committee for Force Value and Hardness Measurement (MTC7) successfully concluded in Changsha, Hunan Province on October 31, 2014. The meeting mainly summarized the work of the Technical Committee in 2014 and discussed and planned the work plan for 2015.

Representatives from metrology institutes of various provinces and cities across the country, including the National Institute of Metrology of China, manufacturers such as Shenzhen Wance Test Equipment Co., LTD., and testing research units of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, such as Beijing Great Wall Metrology and Testing Research Institute, attended this meeting. The conference reviewed and approved eight items of verification, including the "Verification Regulations for Static Weight Force Standard Machines", "Verification Regulations for Hydraulic Force Standard Machines", "Verification Regulations for Superimposed Force Standard Machines", "Verification Regulations for Lever Force Standard Machines", "Verification System Table for Rockwell Hardness Measuring Instruments", "Verification Regulations for Relaxation Testing Machines", "Calibration Specifications for Multi-component Force Sensors", and "Calibration Specifications for Tear Testers" Establish procedures and calibration specifications.
