This extensometer is specially designed for mechanical tests of steel bar connectors. Two extensometers are placed on both sides of the steel bar connector specimen respectively to measure the average deformation within the gauge length range after tensile force application. To overcome the influence of non-coaxiality in the processing of steel bar connection samples on the precise measurement of deformation. Meanwhile, this extensometer can also measure the tensile elastic modulus of steel bars.
